Now Dr.Web® checks HTTP traffic - drweb-icap released
Doctor Web, Ltd. announces release of the new component -
drweb-icap designed for all supported Unix-based platforms
This component enables filtering of HTTP/FTP traffic “on the fly” (i.e. when the data is being downloaded by a user). The component implements the ICAP server, which allows to integrate it with any software supporting this protocol (for example, the most widespread Squid proxy server). Our new solution provides for protection of the enterprise local network from infection with malicious codes when surfing on the Internet or receiving files via FTP.
The developers have removed all defects of the beta-version by the release of drweb-icap and new functional options have been added. The component, for example, has acquired new 4.32b engine, the delivery kit is furnished with the licensing documentation, additional updating server is provided.
You can download new product here (following the required distribution section).
At present, a license for Dr.Web® for Samba file server is required for this product (you can buy it here). In future, the licensing policy for this solution will change, so do not hesitate and buy Dr.Web® antivirus for Gateway at such a low price!
