Dr.Web gets license of Federal Service on Technical and Export Control of Russian Federation (FSTEC)

Doctor Web, Ltd. - authoritative Russian developer of Dr.Web^® Anti-viruses - informs that the company has obtained the licenses of Federal Service on Technical and Export Control of Russian Federation (FSTEC) to design the information protection tools and to develop (produce) tools for protection of confidential information.

The licenses are obligatory condition for a company operations if it is a supplier of solutions in the field of information protection, design and implementation of corresponding systems in governmental authorities, state-owned enterprises, and also in all companies that have higher demands for the software in the field of information security.

At the same time FSTEC prolonged the validity of Certificate of conformity for antivirus suite of information protection tools "Dr.Web Anti-virus" issued on March 4, 2002 till August 29, 2008. The basis for prolongation of Certificate is the results of inspection checkup conducted by test laboratory of "Security of information technologies and components" company.
