Doctor Web, Ltd. announces release of new ICAP package version and SQUID modified source texts

Upgraded version of Dr.Web Anti-virus for Inrternet gateways based on the ICAP protocol is released. The main module of this solution - drweb-icapd - is upgraded; source texts of Squid proxy server are optimized for drweb-icapd.
Drweb-icapd is the key module of Unix-based Dr.Web Anti-virus for Internet gateways. It’s the ICAP daemon which scans HTTP traffic for viruses by interacting with an HTTP proxy server.
The new drweb-icapd version has been upgraded to the following:
- support of NetBSD 3.1 is added;
- support of the following ICAP headers - X-Virus-ID, X-Infection-Found, X-Violations-Found, X-Response-Info, X-Response-Desc - is added;
- the error resulting in sudden program's termination every time Dr.Web anti-virus demon reported to drweb-icapd the error during unpacking a file with the missing content-length field in the header is corrected;
- small defects of the ALT Linux module's start-up scenarios, documentation and operation are removed.
The new version of Squid sorces texts is optimized for drweb-icapd and is based on squid-2.6.STABLE5.
The upgrades are available for download from Dr.Web www-server.
