Doctor Web, Ltd. and Acronis announce a new solution to protect workstations and servers

Doctor Web, Ltd. a Russian developer of IT security solutions under Dr.Web brand-name and Aflex software, an official representative of Acronis (a leader of data storage software market) in Russia sign an agreement on joint development of a product designed to ensure security of workstations and servers in enterprise networks.

Currently the joint project developed by the two vendors exists only as a downloadable distribution, however, a box version will be available for users in the future, the product will target small business and home PC users. It will be published by “1C Distribution”. The solution will be supplied in several configurations so a customer will choose the software package that will fit needs and requirements of his enterprise network. Excellent virus protection and backup tools will allow users to create efficient and productive IT security system at home or in office and save time and resources otherwise spent to deal with compatibility issues.
