Dr.Web for Unix Mail servers and Dr.Web Mail Gateway have been updated to version 4.44.1

Doctor Web, Ltd. announces the release of updated Dr.Web for Unix Mail servers and Dr.Web Mail Gateway version 4.44.1

The following changes have been done to the updated products:

• DNS request memory leak that occurred on some platforms has been fixed;
• Agent crash if emails file is not present has been fixed;
• Displaying an incorrect error message upon removal of MailD with no plugins installed has been fixed;
• An algorithm used to increase stats sending timeout and a message displayed by the Agent upon sending of stats have been fixed;
• Conversion of old DenyByDefault parameter has been added to filter_conf_to_maild.pl script;
• Displaying an error message when use viruses_conf_to_rules.pl has been implemented;
• Sending messages upon emergency shutdown of the Monitor has been added;
• PipeTimout is used when applying the pipe method for mail delivery;
• If fail to launch one of the MailD components, the Monitor will close the Agent and quit;
• When working with the Exim mail system, drweb-monitor and drweb-sender will be launched using an administrator account (root) in order to stop the Exim process correctly;
• Numerous package issues have been fixed;
• Library dependencies issues for certain platforms have been fixed.
