STREAM-TV Izhevsk employs Dr.Web AV-Desk

Dr.Web anti-virus delivered as a service is a fully functional software product that doesn’t differ from an ordinary boxed anti-virus. Activation of the service entitles a subscriber to protect his\her Windows computer with Dr.Web Anti-virus&Anti-spam. While the subscription is valid, a customer of a provider is guaranteed free updates of the virus database and program modules and free technical support from Doctor Web, Ltd.

Subscribers of SCTREAM-TV surely benefit from getting protection of information as a service. They don’t need to spend money on distribution downloads because they obtain the anti-virus agent using free traffic of the provider network. Flexible subscription management allows suspending the service in case of a long vacation or a business trip.

Starting on June 1, 2008 and up to August 31 this year anyone can subscribe to the Dr.Web anti-virus service at STREAM-TV Izhevsk and use the licensed protection free of charge. The subscription is activated at the stats server of the provider. A fee for the service will be introduced on September 1.
