Improved version of GUI-scanner for Dr.Web for Windows released

Doctor Web – the Russian developer of IT security tools branded Dr.Web – releases an updated GUI-scanner 4.44.5 for Dr.Web for Windows.

The follwing improvements have been done to the new version:

Curing algorithms applied to active rootkits have been upgraded;
Incorrect removal of viruses on a network drive or in a shared folder has been fixed;
An error that sometimes caused the abnormal termination of the program on its launch has been fixed;
An error in an algorithm of the delayed renaming of files has been fixed;

The improved version of the scanner is available for automatic downloading on servers of Doctor Web for all users of Dr.Web for Windows
