New version of Dr.Web anti-virus scanner for Windows released

Doctor Web, Ltd., a Russian developer of IT-security solutions branded Dr.Web, releases a new version of Dr.Web anti-virus scanner for Windows.
The following changes have been done to the new version:.
Dr.Web for Windows scanner
- Detection and curing of Ntldrbot (aka Rustock.C) has been implemented.
- Interaction between the scanner and SpIDer Guard has been improved so the scanner could check files blocked by the monitor.
- Removal of certain types of files in Windows (x64) has been fixed.
- A log write error that occurred during scanning of archives/containers has been fixed. Writing empty strings to the log has also been corrected.
- An error that sometimes caused scanner crash to BSOD in Vista/2008 has been fixed.
- Curing certain types of viruses in RAM has been fixed.
- Small changes have been done to the GUI.
Automatic updating utility
- Debug messages have been removed from the log
Scheduler
- Starting jobs at the background has been fixed.
